Bendigo Bank Junior Academy

The Bendigo Bank Junior Academy will run again in 2019-20. Sunday sessions will run on the following dates in 2019-20: 06/10/2019, 20/10/2019, 10/11/2019, 01/12/2019, 02/02/2020 & 23/02/2020. Similar to last season, Andrew Padbury will manage the program and coach, while Hamish Burrill will act as head coach. Andrew has significant experience coaching overseas and comes with a wealth of knowledge from his experience playing in the Dunstan Shield as MACC’s premier strike bowler. Hamish is a Level 2 accredited coach who currently plays premier cricket for Camberwell Magpies. Hamish and Andrew will be aptly supported by other experienced players and coaches from within MACC.

The summer camp will be held on 21-22/01/2020. Registration is now open via the registration page (link below) for both the camp and the academy.

The Junior Academy will be a highly individualised program run throughout the 2019/20 season. It aims to improve each academy member’s specific skill set and introduce players to a senior level mindset.

The season long Academy will consist of 6 x 2 hour coaching sessions on Sundays between October and February (dates above) from 10am-midday. It is aimed at players from U12’s up and will be run in small, skill specific groups.

In addition to the Sunday Academy sessions, there will be a Super Camp open to all ages (6-17 year olds) run in the Summer School Holidays (21-22/01/2020).

We are very lucky to have access to Mont Albert CC’S facilities and will be able to make full use of the brand-new net facilities, outstanding centre wicket and state of the art scoreboard/TV.
