This season, MACC will be including a new team, one which incorporates a mixed junior-senior team. We have identified a need to have a vehicle for development for U14 & U16 juniors at MACC. Our aim for this team will be to integrate juniors with current seniors and some dads/vets who can play alongside their boys, aiding their development within the game itself.
This is a huge coup for our club & the junior program. We are very excited by the prospect this new competition presents. Teams/players will be considered on a roster basis, this will be confirmed in due course.
The aim of this new junior development team will be to also expose kids to playing on turf – INCLUDING MACC RESERVE. Turf cricket is a huge development curve for juniors & we can offer this unique opportunity for all our juniors (ie boys & girls) who can avail themselves to this new & exciting competition.
