Whitehorse City Council is proposing an upgrade to Elgar North East to a multi sport facility with a synthetic outfield and lighting.

Two concept plans have been proposed, only one of which includes a synthetic wicket for Cricket (Concept 1). Details of both concept plans can be found here: yoursay.whitehorse.vic.gov.au/elgar-park

Cricket and our club needs your help to ensure that Junior Cricket continues to be played at Elgar NE and all young Cricketers (Boys and Girls) get a fair share of the improved facilities.

You can help by completing and submitting the short survey in the above link by completing as follows:
Question 1 – Select : “Concept Plan 1”
Question 2 – Select “Yes”
Question 3 – Any appropriate comment
Question 8 – Select “Cricket” from the drop down box

(The other questions are optional.)

Click on “Submit” (registering is optional)

You can “vote” as many times as you like and the more votes Concept 1 gets the more likelihood we will see Cricket continue to be played at Elgar NE.

Submissions close August 4, so go to it!

Go Monts.
