Casting the mind back 20 years is difficult, not just for me who was only 13 years old at the time, but for anyone. I remember the names clearly. Names that continue to resonate with players of the current generation. Names like King, Freeman, Wright, Barker, Devine and Woods to name a few. I also vaguely recall the celebrations that followed. The jubilation at, not just achieving the ultimate triumph, but doing it two years in a row. Players from that team have have since gone on to captain the club, hold significant administrative roles, be awarded with life membership and perhaps more importantly, ensure that the successes of that generation were passed forward to the next. So it is not surprising that, given the opportunity, they all turn up to celebrate yet again.
So it is with great pleasure to present you with that formidable group of players.
