In recognition of the growing Chinese community in and around Mont Albert, in 2018 MACC ran the inaugural Australia day event that aimed to introduce the game of cricket to the wider Chinese community.
This was heavily attended and helped to strengthen the relationship that MACC has with the Mont Albert community.
Because of this success, on the Australia Day public holiday in 2019, MACC ran the second introductory event, which was again a huge success. A
massive thank you to all those that made the day possible. We hope this, not only leads to stronger ties within the Mont Albert community, but also helps to grow our junior program and extend this into the Chinese community further.
